Designed with the understanding of business, technology and futuristic skill sets, this program enables the students to be on the cutting edge of Design & Technology that helps them bridge the gap between Design & Engineering. It deals with the design and development of industrially produced products like electronic and smart devices, appliances, tools and equipment, furniture, and packaging, etc. in a wide variety of industries, businesses, and socio-cultural settings.
Students acquire design skills and technological tools to create innovative and disruptive solutions. This course encourages learners to become agile thinkers, adept makers, fearless creatives, and technologically updated designers. Learning is enriched with knowledge of socio-cultural contexts, design trends, understanding traditional as well as contemporary approaches and immersion in local and global design culture and technological advances.
The UG Program is a platform for young creatives to learn how to design product & process solutions to solve complex open -ended problems. Acquiring new thinking skills; employing various creative processes to empathetically problem solve; applying innate curiosity to explore new ways of making; and deliver design impact through innovative products & processes that finely balance style, form, function, impact, and philosophy.
